Homemade Pancake Mix

Lately I've been rethinking food with preservatives in it. We've already cut out artificial sweeteners from our diet and now we are slowly reducing the amount of preservatives we consume. Through online research I've found that some of the store-boughten foods that we regularly eat, I can easily make at home. Here is a recipe for homemade pancake mix, preservative-free.

Homemade Pancake Mix

7 cups white flour
2 cups wheat flour
1 cup ground flax
2 1/2 cups instant non-fat dry milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup baking powder
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons cinnamon

Mix all ingredients very well and store in an air-tight container. To make pancakes mix together 2 cups mix, 2 cups water, 1 egg and 2 tablespoons of oil (3 if you are making waffles).

Enjoy!
